El Tata y Los Taqueros

music - latin american lo-fi Fredericton, NB

El Tata hails from the warm sunshine and rainforests of Honduras. Born and raised in the capital, Tegucigalpa, he moved across the globe in 2018 to the cold land of Fredericton, New Brunswick, to pursue his dreams of a better life. There's no genre that could truly encompass the entirety of El Tata's sound. "Indie" or "Indie Pop" certainly doesn't cut it. His sound is an amalgamation of multiple influences, especially from Latin American, American, and English music. Having started out as a producer, El Tata displays a huge focus on rhythms, textures, and ear-candy bleep-bloops, blasting speakers with a modern, "lo-fi" sound. El Tata has been slowly but surely building a fanbase in his new home, Fredericton, and hopes to continue a long career as an artist.
