Sasha - Sang d'Encre

Sasha (Sang d'Encre) is a self-taught linocut artist based in Moncton, New Brunswick. She has been printmaking and selling her work under the alias Sang d'Encre since 2020. "Se faire du sang d'encre" is a French expression that means to be worried sick and can be literally translated to turning your blood into ink. Everything Sang d’Encre creates is hand carved and hand printed. Her work is figurative, soft, colorful and a bit quirky. She takes inspiration from women, animals and the nature surrounding her.
