KC Wilcox
KC Wilcox is an interdisciplinary artist based in Saint John, New Brunswick. Her practice centres on drawing as a narrative and conceptual anchor, expanding into painting, sculpture, and installations. Her work unfolds within the natural world as a lived environment, where grief and imagination coexist, and thresholds blur between human and non-human, visible and invisible, active forces and inanimate objects. Wilcox approaches paradox as a spectrum rather than a divide, allowing subtle humour to surface within moments of tension and complexity. She holds a B.Des. from NSCAD University, is of English and French Canadian heritage, with Acadian and Loyalist ancestral roots, and identifies as queer.
