QUESTIONS(S) @The Cap

3:00 - 11:00 PM Friday 29 May FREE

Various stations will be set up throughout The Cap where attendees will be asked to anonymously answers questions for public display. The questions will be displayed on created surfaces that participants will write on and attach their own created materials. The themes the questions will explore will be reflective of community, place and nostalgia all relating to Fredericton. The purpose of this piece is to create a display of community engagement, where attendees will engage in an interactive experience where their contributions will take place during Flourish that they can see take shape over the course of the festival based on attendees contributions. Participants are encouraged to keep checking in on the pieces over the duration of its creation to see it evolve in real time. Participants engagement can spur conversation, thought and create a sense of local awareness. My work is often influenced by my local surroundings at the time of its creation. I believe this project is important to my practice as it can create topics and themes to explore in future works related to my artistic practice.
