Darren “Mista D” Dumas recalls a love for music and collecting many formats and genres since he was a child. Most well-known as the frontman for Toronto-based reggae-rock band, The Salads, and Bob Marley cover band, Mob Barley & The Railers, he has toured across Canada many times, released multiple albums, singles, and music videos, and collaborated with a wide array of musicians. After hosting a monthly Bring-Your-Own-Vinyl event for 10 years in Stratford, Ontario, Mista D has recently relocated to New Brunswick, and has started a new chapter of the B.Y.O.V. events at The Cap. A lover of all kinds of soulful music, expect to be moved by his ALL-VINYL set of killer Funk, Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, Reggae, and R&B selections!
